First off Beth, was amazing! Super Profesh! The atmosphere is a cozy house turned into a restaurant. Amazing Michelin star chef. We had all the specials of the day and some amazing wine. Our anniversary was very special and we loved every minute. We will definitely be back!

The best food in Polk county. This was literally the best meal of my life. I cannot believe it’s not SLAMMED 24/7. Pricey, for sure. But SO WORTH IT. Change your life - get the red curry fish.

I’ve been to Nutwood three times and each time has been impeccable! The atmosphere is absolutely warm and welcoming. Definitely perfect spot in winter haven for upscale date night! The food is immaculate, and the service is great and friendly. I always love asking for the chef specials, Worth every penny! We will continue visiting! Can’t say enough good things.

Happened to discover this gem of a place while on my travels through town. Outstanding service and food. It’s clear the chef really cares about what he is producing. The stuffed dates… incredible! Excellent hospitality and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended- so glad I discovered this place! Hope to be back!

If you’re looking for somewhere to slow down and have incredible food this is the place. I had been wanting to go here for about a year and it exceeded my expectations. The menu is so unique and intentionally flavorful. Our server was awesome, it felt more like an experience than a dinner. Try the artichokes!

You need to eat here. We started with with ricotta toast. New to me, I'm a fan, I need to add this to our special meals at home. I had market fish, corvina n red curry broth. It's a sort of drum, delicious! Believe me, I had to look it up. Anyway, it's wonderful, just bursting with flavor. My partner tried the special Bolognese with tortellini. I had a taste and really liked it. We usually get this with plain pasta, the tortellini made a richer, rounder(?) flavor. I'd get it. There are plenty of wine and beer options. Wine cocktails too. Another table had a bottle of Coke. Of note, local brewery Grove Roots was prominent on the beer list. I was going to try the coffee stout but, fresh out. This visit, no alcohol. No dessert this visit, but I recall something chocolate a while back.

I had the pleasure of dining here last Friday. I went for lunch. The parking is just to the side of the building. Easy to get in & out. The outdoor patio is beautiful. It’s still a little warm to enjoy it for an afternoon lunch but the inside was quaint, intimate & charming. It clearly was a home at one time, and they kept that character of it, which I loved! We were greeted & treated like VIPs throughout our meal. I know the menu is geared more towards a mature palate but bringing my 9 y/o son was perfectly fine. They were able to create something off of the menu to cater to his needs. I ordered the pastrami sandwich served with their homemade chips. I would highly recommend both of them! I will be back for either their dinner or brunch just so I can sample another foodie experience. This is one of those places you could keep coming back and order something different every time due to season or time of day you go. Great place – highly recommend.

Wow, this was an incredible experience overall! It was our first time but won't be our last time. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze while having the most delicious food. Each plate was perfectly balanced with flavors, textures, and just the right portion. The service was awesome, with friendly staff to explain the menu. We can't wait to come back! This is an amazing place to share with friends, family, and visitors! What a great way to showcase Winter Haven.

I found myself visiting Winter Haven with friends and we chose the Nutwood in Winter Haven, Florida for our birthday dinner, is an absolute hidden gem and hands-down one of the best dining experiences I've had in Central Florida! From the moment we stepped into this charming, converted house we were enveloped in a cozy, intimate atmosphere that's polished yet completely unpretentious, think warm, welcoming vibes like dining at a friend's elegant home, with thoughtful decor and just the right amount of quiet buzz. It's the perfect spot for a date night, special occasion. The food? Outstanding. Chef/Owner Steven Rojas and his team shine with their farm-to-table approach, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that make every dish feel inspired and seasonal. Highlights from my visits include the incredible egg yolk ravioli (rich, perfectly executed, and unforgettable), just look at the attached picture, it had our whole table raving. These blue cheese stuffed Turkish dates were pure perfection in one bite! It's decadent, balanced, and utterly addictive, sweet, salty, savory bliss on a plate. No wonder these vanish quickly; they're a must-order highlight! The chicken liver patte was silky-smooth, luxurious starter that wins over even the liver skeptics at our table! Rich, creamy, and deeply flavorful with earthy notes balanced by subtle seasonings, it's perfectly paired with toasted sourdough, vibrant dried fruit compote for sweet-tart contrast, and fresh garnishes to brighten each indulgent bite. Velvety texture, no graininess, just pure bliss on crisp toast. The ricotta toast was a simple yet standout starter, fresh, house-made ricotta, that day, piled high on perfectly toasted sourdough, drizzled with local honey and finished with flaky sea salt for that irresistible sweet-savory balance! Creamy, light, and luxurious with bright honey notes cutting through the mild richness Everything was prepared with precision, classic techniques elevated by thoughtful

It is rare that I say wow that $100 dinner was worth it. But wow was it worth it! Some of the best food and atmosphere. You feel like you’re home but also at a high class, artistic NY experimental eatery. Probably one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve ever had. Everything was great. Full 3 course meal with wine and didn’t feel rushed, stuffed, or gross, it felt like the perfect portions. Cannot sing this places praises enough. It is a must go! They were extremely mindful of allergies. Top notch service. This is not a place I would bring children to be honest. This seems more like an adults experience.
